Heres whats going on. I'm trying to make some cash before Burning Crusade. I want to make as much cash as I can, so when I start a new character when BC comes out, I can transfer it all over. Here my character now that I'm trying to make money with:

48 Horde Druid, feral spec.
240 alch
267 herb
212 cooking
272 first aid
300 fishing

If you don't want to buy, go fish Stonescale Eel, turn them to Stonescale Oil and sell them in AH.

Don't know where you could possibly find gold that cheap.

I bet it's dangerous to buy gold also - can get in trouble.. I like farming though.. so I'll never buy

I would recommend dropping alchemy for now and taking up skinning, and go farm emerald whelpings in the Swamp of Sorrows for the little pet drop (can sell 50-100g "tiny emerald whelping") and their skins/scales

That'll get you a decent amount of gold.

and buying gold is relatively safe as long as you don't go announcing to a gm you just bought a buncha wowgold

alchemy is very good profession once it is lvl 300 and u dont have to make TONS of pots for raiding yrself.

alch is good but skinning and mining will make the most money, go to feralas and kill practically everything, get all the quests and skin everything, u will make heaps!

Best farming places I have found at that level range are very close to each eother:

shadowfang keep: Should be soloable (I do it with my 45 arms warrior w/ 2h), solid 7 or so gold per run, not counting blues. Lots of locked chests though so have a rogue on call to unlock. The blues that drop are pretty much best of the best for l19 bg twinking; usually going for 120-200 per item (such as assassin blade or shadowfang)

Another favorite are the crushridge ogres in the alterac mountains. You get a good drop rate on blues from them (something like 1 out of 100) and the crushridge warmongers will actually drop PURPLES (such as staff of jordan) which generally will go for 400+ gold - at least on Malfurion (my server).

It's extremely easy to farm this area and as a bonus if you have alchemy/skinning you can do skinning like crazy in SFK and farm tons of goldthorn/wintersbite from the alterac mountains.
