Destruction isn't bad, but I find affliction to be the best... in general ~~
You might toss a few into improving pets via demonology. It's hard to go wrong with a lock tho

It is by far
21/9/21
21 - Siphon Life, Nightfall, Grim Reach
9 - Demonic Embrace, Improved Imp, Improved Healthstone (only one point)
21 - Ruin, Shadowburn

This is the info to warlock's talent:
Destruction – High Mana cost, high damage.
Affliction – Shadow damage and draining life.
Demonology – Survival and pet effectiveness.
If you are going for pvp go for destruction because in pvp you want to do as much damage as you could in a small amount of time and your average lifetime is like 4 minutes so mana is not a problem if you lose it all.
These are the best spell for destruction:
# Ruin. I can’t say enough good about this one. It really increases your DPS and gives you a ton more burst damage.
# Conflagrate. This is an awesome ability. It’s instant cast but requires immolate to already be on the target. The damage is really nice and you can never have enough instant cast spells.
# Pyroclasm. At first this spell seems nice. But the chance to stun is spread over each wave, so you only have that chance if the channeling wasn’t interrupted in any way.
I hope this will help you with your pvping. Sorry if it didnt.

Afflicition = hit and run or hit and fear.
Destruction = Added high dmg to backup feared afflicted target
Demonology = Well, better pets... and uh... yea... succubus LoP talent is all you want.
Stacking DOT's, Fearing, and nuking is by far the best way to play the lock. Unless you make an AoE build, which is just silly. On a 60 lock, I can take 2 people, sometimes 3 (Excluding pallies, with the beloved shield)
Only problem, pallies. Shield = Strips the DOT's, Immune to dmg, easy heals. My new, secret pally build that stores hits > all. Shield and unleash it on a lock for a 1 round kill. Heh. Other than that, locks are great. Usually...
