Ok, I cant decide which I should choose so:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1st is:
PART 1
CS-> Backstab-> wait 3->Gouge->Wait 5-> Backstab-> Cold Blood
-> Eviscrete
PART 2
->Gouge->Wait 5-> Backstab->Gouge->Wait 5-> Backstab
-> Gouge-> Backstab-> Eviscrete-> (repeat part 2 till dead)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd is:
Spam SS (till 5 combo points)-> Cold Blood -> Eviscrete-> REPEAT
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd is:
Do 1st except replace BACKSTAB with SS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have any BETTER tactics (also post ur build) plz post them,

From Joosh

man there are so many ways to go... need to know like, do you want just a flat out pvp build, ideal for battlegrounds, good for 1v1, or what... also are we assuming you are lvl 60?

lets see, most recently i respecd my 60 rogue for bg only... focused on talents that are constantly beneficial and not on abilities with long cooldowns or that would be ideal 1v1... focused on conserving energy by getting talents that have chances to add free combat points... mainly a subtlety build

really its hard to advise anything else without knowing what it is you want to be best at... surviving, owning any class but having long cooldowns, high consistant damage, very high inital damage stunlock build, etc... you can spec to completely rape a guy pvp but then have cooldowns on stuff like preparation or adreneline rush or cold blood or vanish... or u can spec to do really good damage but not as well at surviving when ur over powered

ne way, let me know what your goals are for your rogue right now and maybe ill have a good idea for u

Ok,

Its more a constant PvP (1v1) thats half decent at Battle Grounds (lvl 60)!!
It should be able to mow down 1v1.
But no large cooldowns. (max 2 mins) (CB is ok so thats ur choice)

Thanks, you rock bluechips!
Plz post a stratergy and build!

my 60 rogue friend recently repsecd for BG :) this is just an estimate of what he did but i remember him really thinking it over and explaining it to me so maybe i can get him to explain it on here later today

for some reason he got hemorage instead of ISS but he says its more energy efficient, i dunno... its all very built on subtlety, getting all the way down to premed. As far as i can remember, it goes something like this (i dunno if he went all 5 in rapid concealment or not)

Subtlety Talents (33 points)

# Rapid Concealment - 5/5 points
Reduces the cooldown of your Stealth ability by 5 seconds.

# Master of Deception - 5/5 points
Reduces the chance enemies have to detect you while in Stealth mode. More effective than Master of Deception (Rank 4)

# Camouflage - 5/5 points
Increases your speed while stealthed by 15%.

# Opportunity - 5/5 points
Increases the damage dealt when striking from behind with your Backstab, Garrote, or Ambush abilities by 20%.

# Initiative - 5/5 points
Gives you a 75% chance to add an additional combo point to your target when using your Ambush, Garrote, or Cheap Shot ability.

# Improved Sap - 3/3 points
Gives you a 90% chance to return to stealth mode after using your Sap ability.

# Improved Cheap Shot - 2/2 points
Reduces the Energy cost of your Cheap Shot ability by 20.

# Preparation - 1/1 point
When activated, this ability immediately finishes the cooldown on your other Rogue abilities.

# Hemorrhage - 1/1 point
An instant strike that damages the opponent and causes the target to hermorrhage, increasing any Physical damage dealt to the target by up to 3. Lasts 30 charges or 15 seconds. Awards 1 combo point.

Level 46: 5 damage increase
Level 58: 7 damage increase

# Premeditation - 1/1 point
When used, adds 2 combo points to your target. You must add to or use those combo points within 10 seconds or the combo points are lost.

Yep, cool and all but a 1v1 PvP tactic/build is what I REALLY need :)

Big thx, can anyone answer this question though?
