I am looking into buying gold to fund a twink I am trying to make, but i have heard different things said about the practice of buying and selling gold. Some people say that it will always get you banned and that it is against the rules. Others say that it is fine because you are not paying for the gold you are paying for the time it takes to farm the gold. Also if your Account is banned for buying gold then why have people told me that they have bought gold?
So will my account get banned for buying gold or not?

There's always a risk buying gold. Before buying, you'll have to accept the fact that your account could very well be banned for doing it.
Two of my friends got banned this June, one for buying gold and the other got banned for a power leveling service.

you could buy 1g or 1,000g... it's still against the rules and there's always a chance of being banned... all depends on whether or not Blizzard flagged the gold seller's account

Do you think I would be banned for buying gold from Brogame.com? they have been recommended by several sites and people.

sorry if it seems that I'm a noob. I have been playing WoW for over a year but have never considered buying gold until now, but quick gold is not worth losing my account over

Well its easy to buy gold if you go to the right people. Blizz has the ability to read all the text and mail in the game. Therefore try to find a site that doesnt make it too obvious thats you bought the gold. SOme even let you make out what the letter to you says to help you not get banned.

I dont think u would get in trouble cuz blizz bans u if the site charges u for gold. But if u look under the site terms and it says ther charging u for service i think ur ok.

I wouldn't do it but, its against the rules to sell the gold I don't think it said that you can't buy gold.

the site doesn't say that they sell the gold, they specifically (sp?) say that they charge for the time taken to collect the gold.

i have bought gold on lots of occasions now probly over 6k and they used to send it in the post but now i just meet them in a city and they hand it over which is a lot safer. choose a good site and let the good times roll.
i have bought 1000's of gold in gem so hopefully when the 'burning crusade' comes out i can make my twink lvl up in gem crafting uber fast and use my trade to make lots more gold.
