WOW - Launcher/Patcher Updated : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Aeus from Blizzard wanted to get the message out about an update yesterday to the game launcher...

The World of Warcraft Launcher is receiving an update today, which will allow it to check your current game version and download the latest patch if one is available, without needing you to log in to the game.

For those of you who don't use the Launcher the game will still check, as it always has, when you log in.
