According to Gamespy, the worldwide WoW: The Trading Card Game Tournament will begin on January 13, 2007.
Upper Deck Entertainment, the trading card maker, is starting up its worldwide World of Warcraft trading card tournament. On January 13 regional qualifier tournaments for the World of Warcraft TCG will be held all around the planet. Top players from these tourneys will get a chance to participate in the World of Warcraft TCG National Championship Tournaments. Those who are among the top finishers at each National Championship Tournament will gain entry to the World Championship Tournament in late 2007. Each regional tournament will feature prizes such as special WoW TCG Extended Art cards, accessories, and playmats. The World of Warcraft trading card game was released back in October of 2006 and has steadily gained in popularity since its release.
