WW Axe,Sword,Mace. what lvl is this quest at? : World of Warcraft General Discussions

i've just been wondering when I can get this sword, i've heard that at level 30 I can start the quest? Is that correct?

the Whirlwind Axe is exclusive to Warriors. Once you hit level 30 visit your trainer to get a quest sending you to Fray Island to participate in the Affray. Win the contest and gain your Beserker Stance. You'll then be sent to Chillwind Point (not to be confused with Chillwind Camp) to meet with a friendly Troll who tells you how to get a nice weapon... the catch is that it involves killing a powerful creature which first has to be summoned. To summon the Cyclonian you'll need to go grind Stranglethorn and Arathi, and you'll also need to get some herbs off an alchemist friend or the Auction House (despite what the quest says, they DO NOT drop often at all in Dustwallow Marsh). in theory you can get the axe at level 30, but you WILL need help. the Cyclonian is a level 40 elite so don't expect to be able to solo him, and the grinding will also be much faster with a few friends helping

i was lvl 41 when i got my WW axe .. and i still needed help with cyclonian (40+) ... for the tusks .. it was really hard too ... lot's of hordes in that area.

Collecting the 24 charms was fun, i made so much money selling any extra charm i had ... i mostly colected them while waiting for the Arathi Basin BattleGround to start.
