I play WOW on several computers and would like to have to control only one comp. Then, using party chat for example, type in a message that would make the other comp(s) heal, or cast AE, etc.
I know I had this working back in DAOC, but was wondering if XUnleashed is also working like this in WOW?
More importantly, can you run it this way and NOT be detected - this is just for me and my 2 other accounts to farm stuff, so I am always there and no action (other than cast a heal on command, or AE on command, etc)?
Is XUnleashed detectable at all by WOW's sniffer program (forgot what it is called)?

Just wondering: What are you planning to use Xunleahsed for? If I'm not mistaken, there are no xunleashed scripts for WoW, and you may as well just use straight VB (or your language of choice), since there is no service for WoW. Exhume probably has some of the same risks as Xunleashed, albeit probably not as to the extent of the latter.
To give you a straight answer: If your worried about detection at all, forget xunleashed. Just use a different language, since there is nothing inherently better (in this case) about using Xunleashed.

Basically here is the idea:
I am on one comp (main) running my primary toon, while I am in a party with my other toon on another account (and on my second comp). I will type something like "heal me" in party chat in the game. XU, running on second comp, would see this text appear and trigger the "clicking" of the appropriate heal button.
Anyhoo, this is what I used to do in DAOC, and required no real tech knowledge on my part in to get it working in XU.
The benefit? I wouldn't have to look at my other comp or access its keyboard to do the heal... it would be triggered by the text in party chat.
Bigger benefit? My basic coding skills never got taxed and it worked.
I have tried to read through some of the Exhume stuff here and it basically makes my eyes glaze over... and was really looking to see if anything is still viable out there for someone like me who uses multiple accounts on several computers - I don't want to automate the farming or anything like that, but would like to automate the use of supporting accounts on several computers.

In any case, I personally wouldn't recommend using Xunleashed on WoW. It would probably be easily detected, but I really can't give you an official answer. TA might be able to help you when he sees this thread.
(!empty($user->lang['QUOTE'])) ? $user->lang['QUOTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'QUOTE'))): I am on one comp (main) running my primary toon, while I am in a party with my other toon on another account (and on my second comp). I will type something like "heal me" in party chat in the game. XU, running on second comp, would see this text appear and trigger the "clicking" of the appropriate heal button.
I am not very well acquianted with Xunleashed, are there functions built in that would allow you to easily retrieve information such as text? I was always under the impression that other basic scripting languages could do as well, if not better. Please educate me.
Good luck with your bot.

Dont use XU use exhume. However as for services we stop using them due to to many people just stealing code. Instead we are focusing on a new means to help players. Stayed tuned

I've heard of something like this in wow and i heard of some guy the leveled alot of things all at once with just using a warrior tank, priest heals, and like a rogue and lock dps and stuff and would just run instances all by myself and would just continue on to the next instance after they all leveled up until level 70, would be a great way to make money, just create new chars and do it all over agian then ebay them off

Follow bots are something that should be made with mmoviper soon. Kinda cool. I have been talking to the owners about that one.

If you want to control several accounts from 1 PC. (Personally I run 4 WoW accounts on 1 system, that's 4 complete installs on my main desktop). Quad Core, 3GB RAM, HD2900XT 512MB ATI ViD. Then get and configure software called KeyClone. Takes a bit of planning to setup.
I had my 4 warklocks running around blasting mobs in about an hour with basic configurations. It's pretty weird having 4 locks, 1 Big Blue pet and 3 imps kicking the crap outta mobs... but it's fun.
I had my Rogue and Druid setup and working in about 3 hours, with a few hours of tweaking, and fine tuning using built in wow macros after that. They are now level 49 (rogue) and 48 (druid). I have key click commands to heal, buff, even have one to have the druid change to cat form and attack based on what my Rogue's attacks are. I'd say maybe 10 hours total over the last month tweaking and getting this working awesome. I've even done some BG's and done decently well (not great yet). It takes a bit of work and planning but it's pretty fun!
Enjoy,
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Keyclone is worth the few bucks license fee.
Zig.
