So if you were lvl 26 at that point, you could have done much better at lvl 27.
If you die you would be screwed, because you would wouldn't be able to make it back to that point alone.
As a mage you could: -Use Mana shield a lot - giving a possible buffer for the healers to get busy -Use the frost trap to get some breathing room when you get low -Sheep 1 or the 2 mobs for some space -Blink to get away from a hit or two -Be able to use two AOE's
I would assume you would have to keep one mob sheeped for awhile. I would also assume that if I can't do it now, at lvl 28 or 29 I could. I would also (also) assume that a Mage at lvl 30 who was being healed and can make their own drink would be able to drop mobs possibly faster than any other class (although my Hunter is a solo machine).
So, does anyone know the XP generated per hour by doing this? It would vary with class and level of course...

varied between 7000 per hour and 9000 per hour for me. You have to be lucky with the mobs too, like sometimes only those level 25 mage creatures spawn while at other times the area will be full of the level 28 ones.
And it was pretty easy for me to get there at level 26 using stealth.

admin (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): Premium granted. I have to salute that. Lol - the first time I went to the clean room was in the first few days after the game launched. And, I've been there so many times. I can't believe I never noticed or thought of this.

Insulting someone works a lot better when you spell out your words and add some grammar. His point was that the medics healed late. The level has nothing to do with it. Either way, he could have waited to hit 27 prior, but the medics would still heal at <50%, which would have still given the end result of him being dead.

just buy some cheap small weaker potions or something, so once you hit <50% hp, you just use a lower level potion to keep you under 50% but to withstand that few bits of time, that you'll probably end up waiting, especially if there is a laggy server...

If you are not a rouge.... To help getyourself in alone you can use lesser invisibility potions. Alchemists at the pre-40 max of 225 skill can make them. They aren't cheap at the AH though (but not too bad) The only problem is the only last for 15 seconds and potion cool down is 30 seconds. When you enter the instance from the Clockwork Run side: A) Use one potion when you enter the instance B) Run as far as you can toward the clean room around the circle shaped upper area C) Along the bottom of the circle are structure/pillar type object that you can jump down to where you land about 15 yards over the floor D) Jump and land on one of those before the potion wears off E) Wait to drink another potion and then make a dash for the clean room Massive Gnomeregan Map: http://www.videogamemaps.net/wow/maps/G ... all exploits get fixed eventually, and they still need to put out patches to fix expoits, and they can't do that every day.
This exploit worked for ages...
