More than 5 people getting group credit ? : World of Warcraft Premium Discussions

I heard about being able to get group credit for instances like BRS BRD, strath, scholo , with taking more than 5 people in.. How do you do this ?

no this a a raid ( more than 5 people ) doing a group only quest..

Example BRS, BRD, strath, scholo, all have quests that can be completed with ONLY 5 people, no more. If you have more than 5 people, then the items dont drop for the quest, or you dont get credit for the kills.

I been reading on the wow forums of people talking about an exploit to where they can work around this, so a raid can get credit for a quest that is only a 1 group only quest.

I am just wondering how they are doing this.

Go in as 5 people, drop some off from the team, invite new people, have them zone in, regroup and rejoyce. How about that?

if you drop them off of the team, they only have 60 seconds before they get ported out.

but if it works like you say, go in as 5, have a couple drop group, invite the others that are outside, have them zone in.

then hurry and invite the ones that already dropped the group before their timer runs out ?

this is how it works ?

Drop out of the group before the boss dies, loot or do whatever you need for the quest, and rejoin raid group. You do have 60 seconds before you get ported out, so let the leader know who they have to invite back. This works, I've done it.
