Weapon Skill exploit :

With this exploit you will be able to increase your weapon skill

* Get an enemy running away from you. Let it run, but make certain you know where it is. It will regenerate it's HP shortly.
* After that, cast a binding spell on it, I.E Frost Nova or Entangling Roots while it is regeneartomg it's HP.
* After the spell wears off the creature will not be able to move or attack you, but it also will not take any damage, even though the attack is registering.
* Attack the monster, let it heal, attack the monster, repeat
Because the attacks you are making are registering, but the mob is taking no damage your skill will rise and you are safe in the knowledge that you won't get attacked, perhaps there is more to this exploit?

For rasing ranged, here's a simple one. First, if you're using anything but a wand, make sure ya got plenty of ammo.

Go to Booty Bay or Ratchet (Ratchet is better) and jump off a dock into the water. Make sure you have line of sight of a high level npc. Press "U" and set your status to 'at war' with the place you're at.

Start firing. If you're in the water, they can't attack you. It's free infinite ranged weapon skillups. Walk away for a while, come back, and you have maxed skill.

If you're trying to raise your weapon and don't have auto fire, just make a simple looping macro to spam the number your shoot is bound to.
