Blizzard finally announced a midnight release event for Starcraft II across Europe on July 26. The event will be hosted by GAME’s Oxford Street branch in London and will be attended by Starcraft II lead software engineer Carl Chimes.
The event kicks off at 10:30PM but Starcraft II won’t be on sale until midnight so expect themed shenanigans beforehand. You’ll also be the first to get the Collector’s Edition if you attend the event, ten days from now.
Here’s what Blizzard had to say:
“Reports of Zerg activity have been coming in from all across the world, and we need you to fend off the Swarm that’s set to arrive this summer with the launch of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.”
