As a side note, if you can’t make it at Blizzard’s official StarCraft 2 midnight launch, it’s almost certain that you will be able to make it to one of more than 3,000 events that are being held at GameStop stores in the US.

StarCraft II will still go on sale at midnight, but beforehand people who wait to get their copy of the highly acclaimed RTS sequel can participate in costume contests, art contests and other events. GameStop will also give away prizes such as 250$ GameStop cards, the collector’s version of StarCraft II and a trip to BlizzCon 2010. One last “Hell, it’s about time!” then counting down the hours…
