Blizzard today just started talking about the awesome new gear changing featured called reforging. This feature will allow players to downgrade the secondary stats they have on a item for something that might be much more powerful. This new reforging ability is going to give players more choices when it comes to getting items and upgrading them to something worth while. This is awesome news for players that hate doing multiple raids waiting for a piece of gear to drop and never having it actually come to fruition. The official announcement is posted below.

NPCs offering reforging services will be located in all major cities, ready to assist in customizing items by altering the stats they provide.
