Any way ican get enough gold before 40 : World of Warcraft General Discussions

i am a lvl 38 druid almost 39 but no one is buying my items now. Which really sucks i have around 75 gold now and i was wondering if anyone has any tips so i can get the 30 or so gold i need before lvl 40. Thanks.

farm SM, take out a loan from a high lvl friend

u just do like i did farm thelsamar... there with the ogres... and if u are a skinner then go to the island with many crocs and kill them all and skin like HELL and sell all on AH or vendor then if u like u can also farm wetlands angerfang camp... i did at 35 Gnome mage and i farm all weekend till i got like 160g then i buy mount and 4 Journey backbags
easy as hell

Should i farm leather in STV wer the elder mistvale gorrillas are at in Mistvale valley. i am 20 gold away from mount now, so hopefully i should get it soon.

here are a few tips that could help you:

buying RECIPES from NPCs, that cost about 1silver-25silver each (whatever you can afford), observing the same item's prices in the AH... and selling for more, this is a great way to make 3x, 4x or even 5x what you spent, because people don't know where else to get the item

selling EVERYTHING you obtained from monsters... it will take time to get rid of it all, and maybe you will have to sell it cheaper then it's worth, but the key here is getting all the money you can get... throwing stuff away is senseless when it's worth even a little bit

borrowing money... enough said, but plan to pay them back or you will make enemies

running instances for gear you may want, instead of spending gold at the AH for gear... saving money is a good idea when you want your mount

The best way to make gold with a few levels is to really concentrate on the gold making part. I know that seems kind of silly (and obvious) but you aren't going to get the gold you need by going out and doing quests. You really have to concentrate on making the gold. You can't try to level yourself quickly AND try to make the gold you need. Just go out and get the gold you need, then come back and level.

Like was previously mentioned, SM is a great place to farm for gold and good item drops, (all the while gaining xp towards your next level, but most of the time this isn't going to happen as much). Also, it is imperative that you sell EVERYTHING at the Auction house. This is mentioned a lot, but I feel it is important to mention again. Though, i'm sure by your level you have already figured that out.

Depending on your professions, go out and just gather a whole lot of raw goods, and sell them at the auction house. If you have mining, just go and mine mine mine. Stacks of copper ore can sell for 80-85s a stack, depending on the server. Dun Morogh (especially around the quarry) is a great place to mine for copper, if you are alliance. If you are horde, Durotar and the mountains near the Crossroads are good places. Obviously, you aren't going to be gaining much XP doing this, but you aren't trying to level, you're trying to make money remember?

Some tricks to use if you need a little more gold is to go into the auction and look for rare (or not so rare) items that are way underpriced. Often, people will forget to put a starting bid price, making it possible to get some really cheap buys if you just wait out the auction. Think of it like a simple stock market: buy low, sell high. If you can buy something thats worth 30g, but its only up for 20, buy and it sell it for 30. Of course, make sure that it will actually sell for that, otherwise you can get stuck and not make a profit. But just pay attention to the AH, there are plenty of good bargains out there.

In conclusion, the best way to make that money is to say to yourself "I'm going to make this much money," then go out and use your professions, run some good instances, and sell stuff for profit. Then come back and get yourself to the next level. If you try to do both at the sometime, you'll just be counterproductive, you won't make as much money and you won't level as fast.

the best way for me to make gold is to trade the auctionhouse. it requires a little skill, but auctioneer mod is your friend. i had 2g at lv 39, and over a weekend i made 250g, and bought Bow of Searing arrows, nightblade and a mount for my char when i dinged 40.

it was super nice to trade savory deviate delight recepies too

Actually you can use AH for lots of money. Just get auctioneer to help you decide what to buy at a low price and sell it higher. It's so simple to make tons of gold doing this.

lol i made like 20g myself the rest i got loaned and i dident play for like year after that so they forget that i loaned from them LOL

I once bought an item for 4g and resold for 75g.
