You're probably going to be way better off going to Worldofwarcraft.com and checking out the Rogue forums

well i play a rogue and it completely depends on your play style. the offical wow rogue forums have good cookiecutter builds, but u wanna make a build that fits your style.
For Example: I am a mainly PvE rogue (my server is PvE, so i dont have much LFG competiton thank god), but i do like to do duels outside ORG and the occasion BG is fun. So what build did i choose? 21/3/27, stunlock style build w/ hemo. good pve viability (hemo +7 damage benefits my group immensly, as well as imp. sap)
It really all depends on what you like to do, if your pretty much PvE and like solid white damage output, with sustained high damage you would wanna go combat spec. something like 21/25/5 or 20/31.
now of course if your in an end game guild and you happen to get yourself a felstriker (or two.. /jizz) you wanna go sealfate build. 30/8/13 or 31/20 etc and build yourself around a crit/hit. with lower white damage.

Yeah too much people copy their builds of Internet and just don't think of changing it, but it is the best to invent your own build which suits the best to you!!!!

although the best is to figure out your playstyle and find a popular build, and modify it. certain builds are popular for a reason, because they work, and they work good.
