Brian Kopp has rigged his guide with a virus, don't worry I will show him
hacking >:D I asked the Gnome Problem to give me his IP and Port so I
can show that loser whats what for rigging his guide with virus's.

ah, people think down on me when it come to hacking lol >.<, but I do
my share for the community. I wonder why they don't allow hacking for
community service in schools >.< ?

Javascript can be used to hook in a download, however it's easy to see by opening the HTML in a text editor.

lol theres thousands of forms of virus, many of which are hooked into a .exe,
.zip or java. Like bptxp12 said Javascript can be used to hook a in a download.
And if your talking about the HTML version from Gnomeproblem; they had to
take it down because of legal actions.

lol. did you get his IP lethal? I still cannot believe Brain Kopp said that, or would even do that. How unfortunate for him; Hes started a hacking a war that he cannot win, seeing as he couldn't put some halfass protection on his guide. Hes F*cked.

it is a tracker, a sort of malware; they are commonly used to steal information off your computer. And no the forum refuses to give up the IP.

I used Brian Kopp's guide exclusively (67 draenei shaman and counting, woot)
I can tell you definitively there is no virus in the original html guide, or the later (weakly) password protected PDF version.
The message states that he released a FAKE guide containing a virus to the community to get back at people who would steal his guide and not pay for it.
that is, IF it really is him that posted that... who knows.

yes, but according to him that fake virus infected one; has been spread through all online communities; just torrent from Mininova or Demoniod and you should be fine.
