Well finally you can know how much cataclysm is or isnt going to kill your pc. Blizzard has finally released the system requirements needed to play the game. This comes right after the amazing release they had for the cataclysm trailer released earlier in the week. Here is the minimum requirements to play the game and the recommend requirements for playing the game smoothly will higher but nothing insanely high. Best of all the requirements are still pretty love for playing the game except for the hard drive space needed which is pretty insane for a game but oh well.

If you haven’t heard blizzard is planning on suing 3 main developers for starcraft 2 hacks. Taultunleashed does not have any staff that creates hacks but merely members submit things that they find on the web. This of course kept us out of the legality of this one (go us).
On a different note we believe that there is a very good chance this will be dismissed on the grounds that blizzard needs proof these people made profits off of the game which cant be exactly seen just yet. Secondly blizzard needs to prove that they had a loss of income due to these hacks. Which is going to be hard sine its not a mmo subscription based platform so blizzard will have to show that people cheating ruined the game for others, which caused them not to play, which makes the game less active, which causes people not to purchase the game? It seems like a long shot.
Whether or not you approve of hacking this is a big precedent that blizzard is trying to set. They basically state they can ditact what people can and can not do with their game. Would this allow police agencies to sue developers of armor piecing bullets? Microsoft making it illegal to run firefox on your computer? Or someone merely making a game with a eula that states if you visit a certain website you owe them millions of dollars. Yes i know these are far stretches but blizzard is trying to make a case that because you have something stated in the eula you then are legally binded to a contract which is a big reach on their part.
Here is the official world of warcraft cataclysm cinematic trailer introduction. You might of saw this during sundays football games. Blizzard decided to take a full 2 minute ad showing off the upcoming expansion. You find out how the lands where destroyed. What was going on under ground, and some exciting things to look forward on the games official release. Keep in mind the games trailer might be longer but this seems pretty set in stone to be the official games trailer as well.

Here is an awesome preview for those excited for the new tier 11 models. Here is almost all the models for all the classes in the game. You will notice some models have some missing textures on the male versions. That is a problem with blizzard and they need to fix that. The blet and gloves might be wrong but its nearly impossible to notice so no worries there. All effects are correct when showed. Also soon you will have videos and screenshots for all the different races in the game as well. Enjoy.
Finally end game content for wow cataclysm is going to be shown off. The lead designer for blizzard has just made a major announcement that this Sunday they will start letting players do end game raids. The starting raids will be halfus wyrmbreaker and the omnitron defense system, in the bastion of twilight and blackwing descent. They new raids are going to have a ton of new bosses, new flight mechanics, and new secrets that you will have to discover. No extra words have been given on the end date of these raids but since we know the game comes out in the beginning of December we can only assume these will go at least til sometime in November to help with balancing issues in the game.

We’re going to start testing a few raid encounters on all Beta servers this Sunday, October 17 at 13:00 PDT. Two encounters will be tested:
Omnitron Defense System in Blackwing Descent
Halfus Wyrmbreaker in The Bastion of Twilight
Blackwing Descent is a raid zone with an entrance located along the side of Blackrock Mountain.
The Bastion of Twilight’s entrance is located within Twilight Highlands.
Since these are the beta realms, this schedule is subject to change at a moment’s notice due to bugs and server issues. More raid tests will be occurring over the next few weeks.
World of warcraft cataclysm beta build 13195 was just released and the big things with this one are going to be the new tier 11 hunter and paladin armor thats in theg ame now. Below you can see the hunter and the paladins new tier 11 armor types and droll over wanting them for yourself.
The latest starcraft 2 patch has just been released. This one major focus seems to be ont eh zerg as they are stil lthe weakest race out there. This patch gives them a ton more health for building, it finally nerfs void rays for mid game, and helps give a little more nerfing to those pesky terran rushes in the game. Atlantica online is going to be celebrating their second anniversary soon. To start off this event there will be a double xp week going on. As well they will be giving away Gcoins to players via their facebook page. Overall there has been over 10 million hours of game time players from players, one million plus matches between players, and over 7 million mercenaries have joined in the games large scale battle. The US servers will come down on October 14, 2010, at 7:00 am PDT for a hotfix. The expected downtime is 1 hour. The hotfix is to fix some minor errors with the game client. As well the hotfix should be a very short one and you should be enjoying your game very quickly afterwards. This hotfix is for all US servers free or not.
Blizzard recently went on a tirade of how they feel there was a misunderstanding when it came to banning players for sc2 single player. The big problem was based on a response one player had about his banning stating that he was banned on manipulating his single player game because it allowed him to get achievements he wouldnt have normally been able to do. Well blizzard in a nutshell made a post stating that they only banned players in single player games that where using hacks that where usable in multi players games as well. So if you where using a map hack that works on online games then it could of been detected and you would have been banned. Also blizzard stated that they give players the ability to use single player cheats already in the game.

There’s been some confusion in the last couple of days about the suspensions and bans meted out to players caught cheating in StarCraft II. Blizzard Entertainment has always taken cheating seriously and will continue to aggressively crackdown on players who cheat in our games.”
Blizzard today just started talking about the awesome new gear changing featured called reforging. This feature will allow players to downgrade the secondary stats they have on a item for something that might be much more powerful. This new reforging ability is going to give players more choices when it comes to getting items and upgrading them to something worth while. This is awesome news for players that hate doing multiple raids waiting for a piece of gear to drop and never having it actually come to fruition. The official announcement is posted below.

The biggest expansion for everquest 2 will be released oct 14th 2010. The expansion is called dragonbrood the anarchs and seems to have a ton of end game and beginning game content coming out. If you get all your cards before oct 14th you will get cards from the current set. If you get your monthly LoN cards afterwards you will receive dragonbrood – the anarch cards.
