Starcraft 2 – SC2 Rushing Strategy Guide – Tricks

Starcraft 2 - SC2 Rushing Strategy Guide - Tricks

Whether you are a new player to Starcraft 2 or you have been playing for awhile you are going to want to know about all the different StarCraft 2 ways of rushing an opponent. Here we will give you a few of the major guides and tricks to helping you win asap.

The first race is going to be the protoss. The protoss for awhile where way over balanced when it came to rushing because you could build zealots faster than any other race with the ability your nexus has to speed up unit building for a brief period of time. What you will want to do is of course start by maximizing your mineral to base ratio. Normally you are going to want to skip using vespian gas totally and stick to just your zealots at first. Basically work on finding the perfect balance that you enjoy for zealot buildings and probes. Its always a little different for each player so play around to find the perfect balance. Once you get your zealots out there normally you want to try and attack with 4-8. If you are doing a 2v2 just go for one base with 8 guys and you can almost always win. If the fight is still going awhile be sure to research charge for your zealots and its an easy win.

The second race is going to be terran. This rush is going to be big for using your command centers special ability to bring out an upgrade SVC that can harvest faster than other units. Also when you start as terran you can build supply depots in the front of your base to help block incoming rushes. Whats the best part is you can just drop your supply depots down for a second and have your units go past them. When it comes to marines most people recommend just building 2-6 baracks and then researching the ability to use stim packs. Marines have a nice advantage of being able to attack air units too which can help most of the time against a zerg flying rush.

The last race is zerg. They are considered to be the best rushing for the earliest part of the game because unlike other units you get multiple zerlings for each spawn. Basically the same rules apply for them as with other races. But when you get your first spawn seek out your opponent because if you time it right you can get to their svcs before they can stop you and do some serious damage to help slow them down and in the long run giving you the win.

Well there is just a nice recap for all the races and their starting attacks.
